A seat is one named installation of the DogBone module on one engineer's Solidworks. Annual and Perpetual are both licensed per seat, so you buy the number of engineers using the tool.
No. ProTools is a modular suite. Each module — DogBone today, more to come — is licensed and purchased separately. New modules arrive in the same installer but stay locked until purchased.
Yes. Your settings and presets carry straight over — start a paid licence at any point during or after the 14-day trial with no reinstall.
Annual spreads cost and always includes the latest updates. Perpetual is a one-time purchase you own forever, with twelve months of updates included; renew updates later if you want the newest features.
